Suggestions for Wigfrid's skill tree

Shield:

Currently after blocking an attack which does over 60 damage, its next attack deals an extra 37.5 (30 * 1.25) physical damage. This means that when fighting against a boss with 4s attack period, extra damage can be dealt every 8th attack. That's 4.7 damage on average, even lower than Wormwood's Bramble Husk expert. And due to the fact that the skill's CD is reduced to 3s, Wig will completely immune to the boss' attacks.

My suggestion:

* Increase the reflected damage from 15~30 to 30~60 planar damage.

* Remove the CD on equipping, and make all of the shields go into CD when any of them cast the parry skill.

* The CD reduction is fine on 60%. No need to buff it to 70%. 

* This could prevent this shield from being completely useless against planar mobs, since it only deals 39 damage to them.

Spear:

Actually I expect 25% more of total damage over Wilson for Wig when fighting against planar mobs. I have made a table showing that when fighting against lunar/shadow aligned planar mobs, the increase in damage over Wilson with BS Sword and the same armor(BS Helm and Enlightened Crown).

Dark Lament and Enlightened Lullaby's 5% is not considered due to the fact that Weaponized Warble, Clear Minded Cadenza and Heartrending Ballad usually take up all 3 slots for the Spear and Enlightened Crown to work.

As is seen in the form, there's no significant difference between Wig&Spear and Wilson using basic planar weapon. Using dash skill is mostly for restoring its duration in post-rifts battles, rather than dealing more damage. And using this skill causes DPS to drop, the same as dodging attacks when equipping other weapons.

My suggestion:

* Increase Charged Spear's planar damage from 20 to at least 30.

* Make Charged Spear no longer obtainable before the Rifts are opened.

Helmet:

This stupid piece of armor is no match of Enlighted Crown. And when speaking of the defense, it makes you receive more damage in exchange for knock back resistance when compared with corresponding aligned helmet.

The skills make it repairs itself 2.5* the health points that maxes out. This means that even with Heartrending Ballad, in epic boss fights this restoration can be ignorable: +0.833 health per strike, that is 2.6 duration restored, considering all skills. When bullying poor spiders, she will need to kill 63 spiders (5 duration per hit) without taking damage in order to fully restore the helmet's duration, 126 when using the dash skill.

My suggestion:

* In order to make Wig tank more damage, make ALL of the armor she wears lose 20% less duration.

* I have no idea on how to buff Commander's Helm.

Riding:

Just give up this part.

Alignment:

My suggestion:

* At least +15% damage and +15% damage reduction for Wig; +20% damage reduction for other players.

Other Suggestions:

* Clear Minded Cadenza and Heartrending Ballad restore health for Wig as much as that of her allies.

* Delete FF (very important)!

*  Make Rude Interlude able to affect bosses, and hold fast their aggro for a few seconds.

* Startling Soliloquy duration increased from 4s to 6s.

My gaming experience could be biased so please feel free to share your opinoins.

Currently the amount for allies is 1 per hit, for Wig is 0.5 per hit. When fighting strong bosses, Wig's health steal will be minimum at 0.33 per hit, making the total amount 0.83, which is lower than that for allies and this seems stupid.

Healing is more effective on Wigfrid because of her innate 25% damage resistance which makes healing from any source on her 33% more effective than on other characters when considering both would be wearing the same armor pieces when the damage is taken. The minimun health steal per hit for her is effectively 0.83 x 1,33 = 1.1 Hp of other characters, so her minimun  life steal per hit is already effectively higher than the lifesteal she gives to others, even if by a small margin.

I held a survey about what to do about Commander helm, and I think within it, we have a solution to what should be done as well with the elding spear. I'll show you some results;

- The most popular suggestion in the survey was to buff the commander helm, so that when used in tandem with the elding spear, there would be a damage increase. Kills 2 birds with 1 stone underlined in red

- 2nd most popular suggestion is the repair on strike increase underlined in blue

- 3rd most popular, and in my opinion, the cutest suggestion is the insulation bonus due to requiring materials that are locked behind winter underlined in green.

- underlined in purple could be a way to balance it. Perhaps for the elding spear damage increase paired with commander helm could require an additional item in order to give this bonus.

Let's discuss what we could upgrade the commander helm with to give the spear a damage increase with.

Lunar should cover Wigfrid in her golden shroud.

Shadow should cover wigfrid in a goth shroud

My madness has made me conceptualize Goth Wigfrid. 

I think it's fitting she gets this shroud with the shadow affinity song, and Golden with the lunar affinity 

You are right, I didn't feel any improvement in playing experience with Wigfrid's skill tree before the Rifts are opened. I still find myself using the basic spear for fighting small creatures and the default helmet (because equipping the shield makes me unable to be attacked, otherwise the shield's durability will drop rapidly, and gold for crafting shields is not that abundant in the early game). However, I am not a player who enjoys advancing the game quickly. I prefer to focus on building a base and surviving. As a result, I rarely get to experience the upgraded spear. Klei's skill tree forces players to push Wigfrid, a character suitable for the early game, to the late game for a better experience. It really makes me sad.

Perhaps I don't have a good understanding of the game, but if anyone has a better way to utilize Wigfrid's skills (in the early or mid-game), please teach me. I genuinely don't understand what improvements the skill tree brings to her.
