Maybe it's time for a candybag change?

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about this for a bit and decided to share this idea with the forum. What if Klei changed the candy bag to be an inventory container, like the beager bin or the tackle box?

I don't know about the general consensus, but I don't really use it at all, just very rarely as decoration for Halloween set pieces. So what if we could carry it around with us in our inventory?

It would help a lot with cleaning our worlds during the event due to how it spawns trinkets everywhere, clean up and sort things after a donation sesh with pig king, go trick or treating around the constant. I don't think the candies are that powerful to be a concern to have them accessible like that. Maybe it could be a feature for the next Halloween event, or even during the current one already, since hallowed nights always lasts very long, idk.

Anyways, for whomever reads this, feel free to share your opinion on the matter, thanks!

It could get the same mechanism as the Lazy Forager and pick up Hallowed Night treats automatically. That would make it bearable to pick up all the candy scattered around the Pig King.

Worst thing about this event.

On my own worlds i have to have a mod that despawns halloween and xmas candy after a certain amount of time otherwise the constant and endless accumulation of garbage really makes the game unplayable for me.

id prefer if these candies were more rare and had higher stats so it would actually be a nice treat when u get one instead of them just being literal pointless garbage.

I'd be okay with a candybag change. At the moment, I have an entire chest full of just "stuff the Pig King will probably like once I find him" (it's a Huge world and I haven't been playing it very long yet), and it's ALL Hallowed Nights stuff, instead of regular trinkets.

So...
