I think it's cool to keep some Spittlefish nearby as pets and put out fires around them.

(I also want a structure to multiply fish over time, like 1 fish every 5 days. This would be useful for farming temperature fish every year without having to look for them)

The fish doesn't have to multiply fast, maybe slower than juicy berries. But that's enough for occasional leisure fishing activity without having to sail the entire ocean to look for a specific type of fish.

The fish farm thing in Shipwrecked is super cool, would love something similar in DST. 

I'd be for it. A sizable fish habitat with significant open space requirements to prevent its placement in rivers and small to medium inland bodies of water, require significant rope, some bull kelp stalks, and maybe some sea weed starters or something similarly uncommon, possibly connection to dock tiles, (which would restrict it to the shallows which could be grounds for dismissing this element), and we'd have a nice useful world addition to work toward.
