thangjames2000
I haven't seen anyone done this strat so I wonder what do you think about it. It's probably the cheapest way to go about for this fight, and the Depth Worms can be reused for future Toads. Having Depth Worm pets to help you is also a funny idea. Retepeter
I feel like rock lobsters would be an easier way to go about this Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/151165-cheesing-misery-toadstool-with-depth-worms/#findComment-1666884 Share on other sites
thangjames2000
I have tested rock lobsters and bunnymen. The non-ideal thing is Toadstool frightens and deaggros them when it summons trees. You'll have to feed them again to get them to attack. Toadstool doesn't frighten Worms tho, and bees. Worms and/or bee mines are better in this light, although worms are more reusable. Guille6785
bunnies are a looooot faster and you don't need that many of them, you can simple relocate the ones from the existing bunny villages after hammering their houses (instead of killing them) 4 minutes ago, thangjames2000 said: I have tested rock lobsters and bunnymen. I tested that exact thing in this vid and it works perfectly, bunnymen do get scared but they aggro again right away because toad is considered a monster, with about a dozen bunnymen it took a third of the time (I did use honey spice and jelly in this vid but toad wasn't wet so you could still do it in pretty much the same amount of time without them since bunnies are doing most of the damage) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/151165-cheesing-misery-toadstool-with-depth-worms/#findComment-1666886 Share on other sites

I was just concerned if the bunnymen would run away and return to their home in some cases. But this is much better than worms. Retepeter
Hmm thinking about it would clockworks work? I think a ruins has enough knights and bishops to get 5 of each and as far as I know they also can't be frightened. Also James you should like totally do this on meow I need glowcaps Also also the best mob would obviously be wormwood's saladmamders Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/151165-cheesing-misery-toadstool-with-depth-worms/#findComment-1666896 Share on other sites
GelatinousCube
For some reason I remember Rock Lobsters not being all that useful for Toadstool at least after the initial fight, I swear he killed a few of them off too. Maybe I was doing Misery though and the increased damage output messed them up. Could be wrong, was quite a while ago and I rarely fight him anymore, Klaus gives enough spore skin as is for new Glowcaps. I feel like Rock Lobsters tend to migrate a decent distance from where you move them even if you do it the slow correct way. I rarely use/rely on them for anything anymore. I do have a single farm of them set up near a bunch of splumonkey houses with a pen with a single gold piece so they are always trying to get it and then the splumonkeys attack them in the nightmare phase and get wrecked resulting in free nightmare fuel, beard hairs etc. Its a half decent set up but nothing too special.
