The combat strength of Merms is not a problem and it shouldn't be flat increased, this would create much bigger problems since merms once you have enough are already able to sweep many bosses to the point where they are considered as farmable as bee queen. However, sidegrades to merms in combat would be nice. Structure costs are not much of an issue, they could do something interesting rather than a flat reduction, but the progression of making the merms is normally why i see alot of people want wurt to be, even though it still should be improved to be more fun and interesting than making a collection of houses (Could be improved with more merms , she just lacks more fun upsides independent of her). Things to Try Do Please make Wurt have some skills related to fish and fishi g, and give her more uses for specific types of ocean fish to assist those skills, wether it be for new unique merms, or even fish trading. Make the merm kingdom feel like a merm kingdom! (Or village) New merm types would be cool, however mostly merms focused on utility rather than combat- not saying an extra combat merm method or two is bad. Merms that could do more than punching, like collecting fish off screen for you, collecting grass off screen, making a functional merm city capable of doing some dirty work with semi automation would be cool. I have seen alot of people want trader merms, it is a cool idea to give use for fish as Wurt. A trade like 4 heavy catfish for a deerclops eyeball, or 1 freshwater fish for 6 grass would be cool. It would worm like the hamlet shop Direct Wurt Skills She probably should not be filled with a bunch if skills related to her only since her main focus should be merms, though maybe she could have skills where she gains an ability related to her new merm types? For a fast example, you could have a new merm, the fire merm who can put out fires using spittle fish, and Wurt could also unlock a skill which grants her the ability to use spittle fish to do so too! Those are mostly what i want Klei to try to do, and try to avoid. I have created a Wurt Skill tree before incase you want to see an example of what i personally think it should be similar to. Comment what concepts you would like of Wurt, and what mistakes should try to be avoided. What I was gonna say was I didn’t want skills based on resource gathering of logs and rocks. Maxwell already has a total monopoly on it while having more perks it wouldn’t make sense for wurt to try and compete at this point. They could add a couple miscellaneous perks about this but I really want her skill tree to be more around building an actual kingdom cause currently this ain’t it. Her motivation is to bring Merms back to a false former glory but her things to do so are merm huts merm huts reskin and a king that doesn’t really change gameplay that much with it just being stat boosts for its abilities. In an unironic way i want Wurt to be like a mobile game city builder where you could come back to your kingdom, and specitic merms you payed to work have got some resources for you. It would be nice to create a little grass farm for the merms to harvest automatically for you to come back to after a long day of fishing in order to trade for those specific items you want in the shop. I feel like the shop should be much more simple than hamelts. Maybe there is only one structure where you could buy a bunch of random items, maybe in addition to merm houses sometimes putting an item related to their proffesion up for sale in front. I would like that. Another more simple interperation could be the ability to make shop podiums, and sometimes a nearby merm will put an item up for sale depending on what type of merm it was. I really want her to return to the former glory of the mermaids! I have one prozba and Several suggestions. I would like the mermaids to be able to dig up stumps! and so yes, more buildings for the kingdom, as well as I want to propose the idea of an idol (statue) of a forgotten god: 2 merma will sit next to him and will worship. Mostly I just want Wurt and other merms to be able to swim in the ocean. I'm not trying to be negative but I also don't want you guys to set your expectations through the roof only to be disappointed. Sadly my expectations are already reaching Pluto and anything below that would lead to a revolution upon Klei headquarters from all 4 wurt mains that exist. I do agree to a extent but I feel like they've kind of hit a wall when it comes to the uniqueness of character perks that can be added without taking away from the main updates I'd be happy to be proven wrong of course but going by how perks are starting to really overlap I can't say I'm not a wee bit worried with for example Wickerbottom and Wormwood suddenly becoming summoners or Woodie sneaking into Wes's speedy balloon turf and Wigfrid's group armor production turf. Not saying I hated those abilities but it does worry me a bit on how they're handle the rest of the trees more original aspects. I made her only able to Swim in shallow at reduced speed, and her Wetness would increase. She sinks when she gets full wetness. Character in megabase worlds recently to the point i am starting to see a revolution. Wurt is seen as pre-rework Wolfgang but ten folds.
