Modular pillars, decore.

Recommended Posts

Because I've posted to many in suggestions, No real question.

What do you think of modular stone pillars? Does it fit.

2x1 fits any room height this way. The middle section and end caps that rotate.

With different textures you could even customize each ones design. See image for example.

Thing is, this would be competing with things like statues for space. It would end being a matter of whichever structure has the most decor, with one excluding the other effectively.

(Decor could perhaps do with a revamp as it often entails spamming the same high decor value stuff).

Maybe if it is a background building though? Or perhaps an added feature that makes the roof of rooms stronger? Although that would require changing how cave-ins work, which would on its turn ruin a lot of existing colonies.

Yeah I'd like to avoid spamming the same decore for everything. I don't even need it, at this point it be purely aesthetic with some decore for game functionality.

As a skin for a statue, maybe? We could have tall metal ones too this way

That's just more statues, and you can't adjust for room height. With modular pillar and skins you could, even make each one custom looking.
