Weird Pigskin/Hound Idea

What if there was some weird hound that was leathery or wearing pigskin, and it dropped pigskin on death? It could randomly appear, or only everyone's first hound wave, or only the first hound wave you see if you joined after day 10, or whatever. It could alleviate the concerns some people have with public servers where pigskin may or may not be there.

Based idea with no flaws, or cringe idea with no merits?

Maybe vargs/varglets could drop pig skin or some sort of leather material that could be crafted into pig skin?

Giving the vargs another drop would be nice. Don’t get me wrong they have their uses but a part of my soul leaves my body every time I get a varg instead of a koalephant or ewecus; letting them drop pigskin would remediate this issue while also help players in worlds with pigskin shortages 

I know this is kinda the opposite of your suggestion, since you want new earlygame pigskin hounds whereas vargs and varglets are more mid-late game, but I think this could still help

I think in your average pub there will be wigfrid players. I would rather Klei fix the much more pressing issue of fossil nonrenewability, especially since fossil extinction is what allows pigs to go extinct to begin with.
