Mobs that are missing alignments

This is somewhat in relation of this post which explains the problems with the shadow tag:

Here are some mobs that are missing, or could use alignments:

1. Moon Moth, Bulbous Light bugs. These really don't matter but they do not have the lunar tag for some reason, is it because the insect tag always overides it?

2. Splumonkeys. These creatures drop nightmare fuel even if they are not in shadow form, therefore they should have the shadow tag in both forms. This will make both affinities more useful, as taking less damage from these makes the Shadow tag better.

3. Beardlings and Beardlords. These ones are complex mechanically because they are client side so i understand if this is impossible, but these are missing the Shadow alignment tag during their transformation.

4. The twins of Terror. These are both missing the Shadow tag. They drop nightmare fuel and are essentially nightmare clockworks, which are shadow aligned aswell. Their weapon also counts as a shadow weapon for Maxwell. These having the shadow alignment would make sense.

5. Sentry Pedes. These are lunar machines from the archives. This would make sense and buff the shadow skills with another niche.

6. Sea Weeds(The barnacle guys). They require full moons to grow, so giving them the lunar tag is possible.

7. Were pigs. This one makes less sense and is made weirder with the nightmare werepig existing, but this is only here as another good use for picking the shadow skills. I understand the reasons not to add this but just throwing the idea of giving normal were pigs lunar alignment.

Honarable mention: Crustashines and all Powder Monkey types. I have no idea if these are lunar related, or just base themselves off the moon, though giving these the lunar alignment would be a good buff to the shadow alignment.

 

I think adding these would add some consistency and balance to both alignments, because as mentioned in the post i linked, the shadow alignment damage is only useful on the crab king and celestial champion and everything else it works on is too niche, or post riff. I still think new pre lunar enemies can be added to make shadow alignment better.

Should not have any affinity due to it being out of the constant. The dropped fuel is likely a result of you using the fuel on the terrarium.

An automation from a time before the ancients used nightmare fuel, I don't think they are lunar-aligned. Now the robot boss from Hamlet would likely be lunar aligned because it drops infused iron which spoils like infused moonrock.

Twins of Terror are not nightmare clockworks, they are otherworldly machines, I don't remember them dropping nightmare fuel

The ancients evidently were big fans of the moon before they swapped to nm fuel.

the security pulse which awakens the sentrypedes (along with the glowy blue parts in the sentrypedes) look like some sort of lunar energy to me

i think them having the lunar tag would make sense

They drop nightmare fuel and their handheld shield is a shadow weapon. So therefore, they should be shadow aligned. They also have the same loots as nightmare clockworks.

Maybe Charlie? As far as I remember she is not shadow aligned.
