The beefalo one, I'm not sure if that is really necessary just to save 1 inventory slot. I like the rest of your suggestions, they are good QoL changes. I'm trying to replace the equipped function since it can just be haunted in DST. I find the slot worth taking up for the Beefalo for having it follow while not riding, temporarily keeping it a safe distance away, or disconnecting with it without having to be near. Having the beefalo carry the bell and only having it on inventory for going into or out of caves and teleporting to make it follow was the reason why the bell is on that list. The first and most obvious thing is it bonds you to a wild Beefalo, where it will follow you around loyally so you can tame and feed it as you go about playing the game. The SECOND thing it does is it allows you to carry your Bond Beefalo into/out of caves or to teleport to your location after you travel across the ocean to an island area, and to disappear off the server with you when you log out (like Woby and Walter) The Third and more unknown thing it does is it allows you drop the bell on the ground somewhere off screen during a boss fight and your Beefalo will stay there until you return and pick up the bell. and the Fourth thing it does is allows you to “Break” a bell bond with even a fully tamed Beefalo so it goes back to being “Wild” Again and thus- Able to reproduce herds in the new location where you broke the bond. I’ve used this to freak players out by having Beefalo herds in areas they shouldn’t be- such as just chilling on a small island out in the ocean somewhere. It Also serves I pretty cool gameplay purpose- Allowing you to ensure Beefalo don’t go fully extinct by paying attention to how “Endangered” they’re becoming.. and then taking the extra cautionary steps to ensure their species survival. You can also “bond” a Beefalo, lure it away from its herd far away and then murder it for free meaty stews & Beefalo wool. I only wanted to comment on the Bell because it’s an Awesome item Worthy of taking up one inventory slot. The spider hat is pretty ok as is, it just needs special interactions when used by webber. Amulet reviving 5 times seems a bit too much, maybe change the healing from amulet into an area of effect healing that can heal anyone with low heal around the wearer (maybe even companions like pigs, spiders , shadows , abigail , bernie , etc...), this way it can be used as a support item on the body slot. Beefalo bells are practically a copy of chester's/glommer's/hutch's eye bone/flower/starsky so it functions similarly, the devs could make a personal one slot inventory for beefalos that holds the bell , but that would remove the ability to share the beefalo with other players (since this way the bell is bonded with the creator when made, and given to a beefalo to follow the creator of that bell). It healing you is more of a drawback since it's so slow it's basically useless, and it takes its durability. Turning into a ghost and haunting them to revive was what made equipping them outdated, not sleeping. Beefalo make you not need armor, weapons, magi, or a walking cane, and remove the piggyback's downside. Losing 1 inventory slot in exchange for the like 17 it gives you is nothing. Bone helm doesn't need any changes, it's already very good. The only drawback of Wanda's watches is that they take inventory space, being able to stack them defeats the point. Mucus & wings don't need to be super good, everything doesn't need to be super good. You aren't even supposed to kill glommer at all, he's your friend. Encouraging people to kill him is a terrible idea, it would just piss people off. Might Make a ring of them around my lunar island base.. Really like the bee queen crown and stinger suggestions. Perhaps the crown can only protect you from harvesting in summer and autumn but not spring when they're always angry as to not be too great? Stingers should definitely stack. Also, it would be cool to be able to use Ewecus slime and an empty jar to craft a throw-able slime jar that explodes and traps mobs caught in the radius. I think a better alternative would be making the amulet into a life giving (leeching) as you attack. The durability would be changed to number of heals it has done, it would look like a body armor's durability. A gimmicky but interesting weapon/tool. Sure theres glommer goop(which is also effectively farmed by killing) which has valuable use for healing and hostile flares but the wings still drop. Maybe having a craftable helmet that gives a speedboost? DST doesn't have a speedboosting helmet yet but it exists in shipwrecked, the sleek hat. Make it a blueprint drop from Ewecus. Its like a napsack where its not easy to amass normally. The effect would just be similar to Maxwell's prison. It could also be setup or planted like the Bee mine where it triggers on enemy impact. Gestalts can spawn in on any space so a circular border around base is useless. The swords repel gestalts only within their range so if you want to gestalt proof your lunar base then youd have to litter around dark swords on the area. I mentioned it on the first post talking about the shadow thurible. Even a night armor on the ground repels them. Night light is just expensive to build and not moveable since its a structure. The cackling sound does drain real life sanity because its so loud and sharp. It looks cool though, I wish it'll have some more niche uses. Maybe make them automatically light up with the ruins nightmare cycle so building several around the caves would occasionally give some light. Its not necessary and would be an investment but it'll be a nice use for a cool looking item.
