Lilalaunekuh
Hello friends of long running colonies (and other players^^), I just got back to the game after quite the break and without much experience with the "new" spaced out dlc - moonlet start. So I was just looking for a seed which would offer "all / (the most possible amount of)" geyser TYPES / other build enableing map features (like specific geyser combinations on a single world ...). The first questions which came to my mind where: 1) Does a seedfiner/seedbrowser exist for spaced out moonlet maps ? 2) Does a "Radioactive Ocean Asteroid Start" with a Gold Volcano on the starting "Radioactive Ocean Asteroid" exist ? (and if so, does anyone have a seed with one ?^^) 3) Did I miss some changes in the meta and there would be something else to look out for ? PS.: I will attempt all maps with maximum difficulty and doingLocavore/Carnivore/Super Sustainable ... (and for all other achievements)
asurendra
1) toolsnotincluded has DLC seeds search (but site a bit unstable right now so first few searches may not be successful) 2) Radioactive Ocean Asteroid cant have any metal volcano on it. But swampy metal asteroid that always lies close will have at least one gold volcano in 100% cases

What excatly does the "meteor shower setting" do ?
asurendra
Every moonlet has some fixed geysers that always will be. For example, flipped ones always has sulfur geyser in magma biome. Thats the same as vanilla game always has cool steam at jungle. Also each moonlet has list of possible geysers, some of them will be present. For example flipped one can get this geysers: - geysers/big_volcano - geysers/hot_co2 - geysers/hot_hydrogen - geysers/hot_po2 - geysers/hot_steam - geysers/liquid_co2 - geysers/methane - geysers/slimy_po2 - geysers/small_volcano - geysers/steam - expansion1::geysers/liquid_sulfur But worldgen choose only three. Thats mean that random still here, but some combinations arent possible. DLC starts dont use truly random generic geysers as classic start used to

Story traits may not all present in moonlet start main asteroid due to size. So some stories may spawn in other asteroids. And now we have meteors everywhere in moonlet inner asteroids except flipped. Some new meteor showers have new characteristics may need some attentions. Enjoy the ride! But this geysers may be absent if the worldgen cannot find a place for them All info has been taken from worldgen files. Im not sure that you can find it anywhere in net. Wiki doesnt have it for sure
Lilalaunekuh
I done some digging myself and found the folder "OxygenNotIncluded\OxygenNotIncluded_Data\StreamingAssets\dlc\expansion1\worldgen\worlds" containing the generation rules for planets/moonlets. I would like to have a metal volcano on my primary or "teleporter-accessible" moonlet: -Metallic Swampy Asteroid beeing the only (starting) moonlet which can spawn them -Metallic Swampy Asteroid can´t be the "teleporter-accessible" moonlet. => If I settle with the current world gen I need to start on the Metallic Swampy Asteroid Worldgen / toolsnotincluded related problem: Spoiler If I look for a Metallic Swampy Asteroid start and only select 3 "Must Have" Worldtraits, why does no map with them exist ? [Are there some additional rules like the "max 3 traits on all the outer moonlets" that prevent a world like this from beeing viable ?] Does someone have experience with manipulating the worldgen, the ".yaml"-files which I found didn´t seem to be the source [making changes here, analog to other moonlets doesn´t have any effect] ? asurendra
Just now, Lilalaunekuh said: Does someone have experience with manipulating the worldgen, the ".yaml"-files which I found didn´t seem to be the source [making changes here, analog to other moonlets doesn´t have any effect] ? Yaml files is exactly rules game uses for generating map. With moonlet cluster there is a trick. Each moonlet has starting version, warp version (with teleporter) and basic version (non start non teleported ones). You need to change right file. Or you can install mod "Cluster generation manager" which allow you to choose any combinations of moonlets. Meaning that you can make map with any start you like and have metallic asteroid as your teleporter destination
