Add Mushroom Regrowth To the Caves (If It Doesn't Already Do That)

Recommended Posts

I notice that the regrowth for mushrooms only check isday, isdusk, isnight, which are for the surface only and we can only adjust the regrowth of mushrooms for the forest shard.

For that reason, I'm thinking that they don't regrow in the caves, so having that be available would be greatly appreciated.

Very please make it so you can plant mushtrees. Maybe make it a toadstool drop or something, anything. Plantable mushtrees would be very neat.

I wouldnt mind a full rework to make them more unique, turning them into a cool tree alternative in caves.

Moontrees are fine, its just the other trees are just underwhelming.

Or someway to plant spores, idk.

I do wish Klei brings back the mushrtree chunks concept. It wouldve been interesting to have a bigger piece of mushrooms. They could've have double/triple the stats of regular mushrooms, including the penalties.

The chunks even had drying rack sprites. Imagine better mushroom effects?

I just want a whole cave update/rework lol.

No point in having to control regrowth if there were none to begin with.

iirc, twiggy trees' regrowth mechanics works in a way, that even if there were none in the world at the start, they'll grow in eventually anyway.

Oh. Well, it's settled then. Caves world options do be leaving a lot to be desired in general.
