Woodie needs a rework he is extremely useless

Everyone has something but woodie has nothing look at Walter wormwood  wolfgand wilson wickerbottom maxwell and wendy. They have extremely large benefits to playing them what has Woodie? Useless damage, cutting and running mods that can be easily replaced. In late game its useless.  What u gain for these options 0 hunger meter and tons of sanity loss not to mention constantly turning on full moon. Either buff his damage for forms and remove penalty or bring a extremely new options to how to play the character right now if it isnt for looks i would maybe change it to a different character already.

Moonstorms are terrible too because in nights u constantly transform because of full moon

In any ware-form, it takes some planning to unequip head and hand slot items and have food ready for when you transform back.  In winter, you're often freezing before you transform back.  In caves, or during long nights, you may also be insane.  It's very impractical for him to get Glommer in single-player.  I can't imagine what it's like to play Woodie when there are extra full moons such as during the lunar storms, or when Wickerbottom reads her Lunar Grimoire.  I expect by the 3rd night of this I'd leave the server.

The most useful aspect of Woodie is exploring the water as a goose.  Base character speed is 6.  Goose-form is 8.4.  An untamed beefalo with a basic saddle goes 9.8.  I would increase his goose running speed ON LAND to 9.8 to compete with the beefalo.

Mining/chopping as a Beaver feels faster than with a pickaxe/axe, but you still have to pick it all up.  In order to compete with Maxwell's Shadow Workers, he'd have to work faster than they do to make up for the time you still have to spend picking up the resources.

I've found the moose form to be almost completely useless.  Mostly because you can't access any healing during a fight.  Increasing the damage absorption from 90% to 95% (same as marble armor) might tip the scales.

Woodie ideas:

+ Were-platymoose {can be learned and crafted at the lunar tab} it's a infusion of all the Were-forms (cost 2 monster lasagnes and 2 moon rocks)

+ Were-amulet {can be learned and crafted at the ancient tab} works like Wilba's necklace (2 moon rocks, 1 purple gem, 2 nightmare fuel)

+ all were forms can wear amulets (putting on a Were-amulet will force him back to human form)

- Changing Lucy's red colour will lose the 2x chopping speed -

+ Tree-guard paint {Lucy will turn green} chop once to force a tree-guard to spawn (2 evil flowers, 1 moon rock, 1 green gem)

+ Lazy collector paint {Lucy will turn orange} Lucy will help collect (2 evil flowers, 1 moon rock, 1 orange gem)

+ Enlighten paint {Lucy will turn yellow} can flip your sanity, equip Lucy at 20% will push it to 80% (2 evil flowers, 1 moon rock, 1 yellow gem)

+ Dark purple paint {Lucy will turn purple} leches health (2 evil flowers, 1 moon rock, 1 purple gem)

+ Chilly blue paint {Lucy will turn blue} will slow down/freeze mobs like Walter's rounds (2 evil flowers, 1 moon rock, 1 blue gem)

+ Classic red paint {Lucy will turn red} back to Woodie's normal chopping speed (2 evil flowers, 1 moon rock, 1 red gem)
