Seems Wilson got his place from an auction. And, based on the stuff found in it, it used to belong to Wagstaff. But, now he has taken up residence once more and is projecting himself from there. Seeing as the house was auctioned and not sold by the previous owner, plus its old and unused, it seems that Wagstaff disappeared from earth which allowed someone to auction it off. He must have been gone for quite a while, but somehow returned after Wilson was dragged in. I'm not 100% up to date on the lore but I figured I would put this here for others to discuss. A third party like the bank auctioning off the house would care less about this and would just sell to the highest bidder I could see it as the bank sending someone to appraise the house, then some smart fellow decided to market it based off the equipment left inside.
