DST SWITCH 30FPS LIMIT IT'S NOT NECESSARY... or is it?

Recommended Posts

Thanks to some forums I managed to get a patch to remove the limit from 30fps to 60fps... And guess what? The game does manage to have a stable 60fps throughout the menu and game! It really feels very fluid except one thing... Which I think is because they capped the fps and made everyone think that the switch is so underpowered that it can't run a 2016 2d game despite having a processor Nvidia with 4 GB of Ram... The delay, the delay is innate to the fps and the lower the fps, the less this problem is noticeable. Until they fix the delay apparently we will have to settle for 30fps but if you have a modified version you can enjoy a stable 60fps without overclocking. (You can look it up and try it, I don't leave links or anything similar for obvious reasons and also note that if you play predictive with 60fps activated it goes quite well even with delay!)

How thoroughly have you tested this? It could have dips in more difficult to run sections, like areas with a lot of items.  thoroughly have you tested this? It could have dips in more difficult to run sections, like areas with a lot of items.

I would like to show you a video since in the menu it goes to 60fps. In the game it goes to a fairly stable 60 although it should be noted that when taking an object, a resource from the floor in that animation of taking the fps drops to 45, but as soon as you get it they go back to 60... In any case I will read the rules to find out if i can upload a video. About having many items on the floor, I imagine the same thing will happen on PC, PS4, Xbox One and others, the more items on the floor in an area on the screen, but the fps you will get. (The fps is normally at 60... But if you're walking around, doing things it might go from 56, 58, 60 fps, but it feels very fluid and if you're not with an fps meter you don't notice the difference.)

There is no reason (In terms of hardware) the game can not run at 60 FPS on the switch. My sisters dual core amd sempron, 4GB of slow ddr3 ram and a gt610 1gb can run the game at 720/60 Flawlessly. They just need to optimize it more. That is pretty cool though you managed to do that.

Haha thanks! Although it was not complicated, just remove the limiter which is visible on PC. As I said, the real problem is the input lag and the attack is not continuous, even if you press it, it takes time... I would like to be able to fix it but disabling caves doesn't even solve it (on PC, yes)... I don't even know if it's optimization, there is something  forgot to implement
