Waynel Posted February 22, 2023 Share Posted February 22, 2023 If you are really curious about early versions of DS/DST, you can try them out using depot downloader (it's a legit method btw: you need to log in with your account and it checks if you own the game first before it will download the specific version of the game you requested). There's a few games I'd love to have an older version of. depot downloader : https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader/releases/tag/DepotDownloader_2.4.7 site for getting the id for the specific version of dst you want (you will have to log in with steam) : https://steamdb.info/depot/322331/manifests/ Oh and iirc, you will probably going to have to make a bin64 folder and copy paste what's in the bin folder and rename "dontstarve_steam.exe" to "dontstarve_steam_x64.exe". You won't have skins if you choose for instance a 2016/2017 version of the game; and even for modern versions (like 2019/2020) there can be some conflict in that regard. As for other games, idk.
