Steam dlc skins vs In-game store dlc skins

Hello! I would just like to know what to expect when purchasing from the in-game store? Like, which one is the preferred (steam or in-game)? or does it matter? sorry, I'm new to the game :)) thank you!

Afaik steam ones can be gifted, while Klei store ones give Klei the bigger share, as from the steam ones steam/valve get's a big cut.

I don't think the amount Valve gets changes.

Steam ones can't be bought again if you buy skins for unravelling, and can be gifted.
