Auto-Sweep Pls :3

Recommended Posts

(Unless no storage box with room available assigned to store the resource)

Also, "sweep only" checkbox in basic storage container not working.  Evidenced by: All 3 duplicants idle with items marked for sweep, and two empty storages marked with "sweep only" only.  Upon clicking the "all" checkbox, they all immediately started to sweep.

Auto-harvest as well, right?

That's expected. "sweep only" storage bin with no filters can accept nothing. You need to set what's allowed to go into compactor for "sweep only" to work. If you remove "all", everything that's already inside will fall out.

P.S. recommendation: do not use 'all', it will 'sweep' eggs

Already present in game.

This is basically how it works right now. Whenever you build storage dupes will auto fill it with stuff it accepts. This means they will auto sweep but it also means you can`t really select where they do it. Most of the time they will clean areas outside your baseinstead of places you want cleaned.

That`s why there is the "sweep only" feature. Storage marked as sweep only will only accept stuff you manually marked for sweeping (and is selected in the storage bin). This is why you observe dupes idling when nothing is marked for sweeping or the bin has nothing selected.

As for auto harvest the crops you plant are already auto harvested and wild ones can be marked for auto harvest via the crop overlay.
