Tranoze
I don't know why bricks and cements didn't make it to the game, but artificial materials with unique properties would create huge different on how we play the game. Brick and cement (20 kg ceramic + 80 kg sandstone/sand) -50% mass needed when construct. -75% construct duration.(for fast building space structures like dry wall and stuff) (Very useful in space out) half as good as ceramic in term of insulation. Alloyminium (5 kg niobium + 95 kg aluminium) -50% mass needed when construct. -50% rocket burden (space out). Super conducting alloy (niobium + various metal) Battery wont leak when below certain temp. Wire maximum wattage limit +200% Bullet proof glass (80 kg glass + 10 kg plastic + 10kg fullerene) Can be add to bunker door material for transparent door, however, you still need to dig any meteor debris stuck in them. Sasza22
Different materials usually don`t modify things like construction mass, duration or wattage. I`m not sure how hard that would be to add. Anyway i`d like to see materials for common stuff with different properties. Like concrete would be a great replacement for steel in bunker tiles while being an insulator; could also work for radiation blocking in SO. Dim glass for glass tiles blocking 50% light to avoid sunburns. Alternatives to plastic with higher melting points. More useful alloys like a low conductivity metal or another one rising overheat temperatures similar to steel. I like the idea for bunker glass. As a late game thing it would make sense. NNOUS
why that is so easy. when u order to construct a tile they ask for 200 something. just lower it to 100 for that specific material then its working.
