Wurt Boats

The update brought a lot of possibilities to the ocean of Don't Starve and one of the things I liked the most were the new items for boats, such as magnets and collision protections, these items made the creation of mobile sea bases more viable. However, there are characters that are penalized for this, such as Wurt who has to stay close to King Merm, so I would suggest that:

- Remove the swamp soil restriction for the construction of the royal tapestry, being able to put it on the boat.

- Add the magnets (threads) manufacturing ingredient to the toy collection that King Merm trades, thinking about players who can't run the game with the caves.

- This idea may be a delusion, but I would like you to add a pot to plant crops on the boat or just use it as decoration of the base (I think Wormwood players will like to plant in boats).

I feel like this wouldn't be asking too much considering most of the trinkets he does give are duds anyway.

While it might be out of character I feel like the turf restriction should be removed in general for her it feels really unfair to a character who already has to craft homes with material that doesn't stack but again it'd be out of character so I won't expect too much there.

I feel like this might be a pain to code which might be the only thing holding this back.

I wanted to add this to the trades when the crafting ingredients were being discussed and it slipped my mind, thank you. I have this applied now and it will be out some time in the future.

After some internal discussion it has been decided to not go forward with this instead choosing to think about using an alternative method that is not so character locked for other characters to have a better time obtaining these Frazzled Wires.

maybe the oasis lake? already gives trinkets and sadly you can find junk irl ones

Suggestions:

- Add to the submerged treasures, which I've never seen anyone looking for.

- Add to treasures buried by the monkey captain.

- Possibility of spawning from the monkey island portal.

- Fall when destroying the machines around the Monkey Portal.

- Add to our dear friend Pearl's Bottle swap set.

- Drop when killing the ocean mechanical shark.

- Item that the monkey queen gives in exchange for bananas after having obtained all the construction blueprints.

I don't think it would be good, because you would have to wait until the summer and it would end up delaying the game a lot.

There is already a 2% chance to get a trinket from sunken chests, and one of those trinkets is the wires
which, is not enough.

But, if they are going to be adding things to sunken treasure, I feel like they should change how the loot pool actually works.

Currently there is a pool of 5 groups of items, it picks one of those groups randomly (different groups have different chances)
and then gives you all of the items in that group. Those five groups (as I have named them) being the "Ocean resources" chest, "Fishing" chest, "Mining" chest, "Explorers" chest, and "Ruins" chest.

Personally. I love the loot from the rarer groups, but a lot of the groups have similar items, like how there is technically a 50% chance at getting a pickaxe, which is cool at first, but just becomes trash once you have 2 chests full of them.

What I personally think should happen, is that all items should be possible, with their own % chance of spawning, much like the ocean debris. It could roll for items 6 times for example, but Im not sure if it should pick repeats or not
So you can, for example, get stuff like thulicite and salt from the same chest. Rather than getting the same common stuff over and over with no chance at getting the rarer stuff
And while they are at it, they should make the lures/floats that can drop should also drop their variants, not just the specific kinds. (for example, after enough chests, you can get a ton of dusky spoons, but none of the other lures, I feel like it could be the day and night variants too, same also goes for the quill float, but not to the same 'urgency')
