Let's make Gassy Moo's good for the retired Brothgar

In honor of the retired Brothgar I think we should do something. Brothgar always tried to make Gassy Moo's work. But...It's never turned out. I did enjoy the salt when it turned into a disaster. And while that makes for good content I think we can protest for a better Moo.

How about letting gassy moo's have eggs when tamed?

The Gassy Moo is beyond useless. I thought of a away to make infinite hands off meat generation and I'm sure its never been used(its a little jank as well, needs more tuning).

I never madeit that far intothegame to make an actual design around the gassy moo but i always suggested to add one thing: milk. Gassy milk and a moo milking station.

As for moo reporduction i think we either need a moo mating call that happens when you got 2 or more of them tamed and calls down a mooteor periodically or we need an artifact that is hidden deep in the moo moonlet that can be extracted and taked to a different planetoid which will cause moos to drop there instead.

I smell strong Spore vibes here. Gassy moos are not useless, it's just they can barely supply their rancher colony.

Is this a discussion about making suggestions to the Devs so that Gassy Moo's are more playable?

Or are we talking about stable designs for the Moos?

Because I have made stables for them before but I couldn't make it effective enough to provide enough Natural Gas to be energy efficient compared to solar panels

Gassy Moos aren't even a cool reward for what you need to do to get them. They need a complete rethink, not bandaids.
