Better menu UX please

I feel like so many menus can use a bit of love to be much more usable.

  • artifact buildings (pedestal and rocket transport).  I hate opening up these things, so slow and need a better default filter (like artifacts on planet).
  • sensors above/below - so unintuitive, I have 800 hours in this game and I'm still never sure if the right
  • dupe menus (primarily skills and vitals) - so slow, please start position too the dupes of the current asteroid I have selected.

Those are just a few, I'm sure a real UX person could come up with a few other improvements.

what is wrong with sensors? How you can improve label "send green signal when temperature BELOW 100 C"?

Only thing about sensors, they display temperature in format "100 C", but as input you may type only numbers, and if you edit existing label, like from "100 C" to "200 C", your changes will be ignored, because "200 C" is alphanumeric input, and you need to delete "C" character. It is really frustrating.

my fav ux pain is that some scrollbars are moving items down when you drag the scrollbar down in some menus and up in the other.

also, at some point during recent (year or so) updates, sorting by columns in the dupe list in the skills tree got half broken and devs didn't notice.

toggling all consumables and consumables by default are not obvious, and i keep seeing new streamers and youtubers disallowing/allowing a consumable of every dupe one by one instead of clicking at the icon on the top.

! priority selection and default priorities. oh man... last priority is remembered for building construction but not for tools.

radio button list for tool filters? really? especially when automation wires are _automation_ and sensors are _buildings_... you need to do basically what should be a single action in two steps: destroy _automation_ then destroy _buildings_.

please stop me because i can go on forever...
