Orangex Posted February 18, 2022 Share Posted February 18, 2022 Hi. A friend of mine has just had an issue with her account. We were about to jump into our private game when she noticed that the MOTD has all reset as if they haven't been read. She then went to feed and play with her kitcoon (like she did earlier this morning) and it had gone, leaving only a collar on the ground. All of her character outfits have been reset back to the defaults, along with the compendiums deaths and friendliest friends information, the gorge recipe list has been reset, along with the encounters and obituaries information. It seems like her account has had some sort of reset but not everything has disappeared. All of her belongings are still there, along with the correct amount of spools and kudos. She tried restarting the game incase it was an account login issue but the problem still persits, a lot of the details and the kitcoon have been reset. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix or anyone that can take a look at her account for us? Thanks. Hornete Posted February 18, 2022 Share Posted February 18, 2022 A few people are having the problem. It looks like Cloud saves are being incorporated into the game(I got a Cloud saves folder in my save files when I opened the game, but I havent experienced the issue). The devs are aware of the problem and they've said itll be fixed soon, just sit tight and don't freak out(yet). Your friends save data isn't gone, the game is just most likely looking in the wrong place for it. Hope that helps. Developer zarklord_klei Posted February 18, 2022 Developer Share Posted February 18, 2022 We are very sorry about this, if you have encountered this issue, there will be a hotfix out in about an hour that will resolve this, please don't mess with your savedata unless you have a backup and you also know what you are doing, none of your savedata is gone(and it all will be restored once the hotfix is out), but if it gets messed with, you could lose some savedata. When she was confused about why her kitcoon had disappeared to, leaving only the collar, she accidentally created a new one. Will the hotfix rollback to the previous kitcoon? Hello, Zark. I'm having the same issue as well. My clothes were reset. My kitcoon is gone. Twitch drops and save worlds were sent back to last year's: All the drops I got this year were gone. I don't know what to do anymore.
