Add a dash to shield of terror

Recommended Posts

the item and the fight are cool but the item, imo, needs a little more to be something desirable and fits the original item. It will add movility, a thing locked behind RNG with walking canes or in the ruins with the mag

also losing 2% per hit in an item that also loses durability while taking damage is kinda unconfortable

Make it like wheelers dodge on Xbox, it’s an always on screen indicator that shows the distance she will “base ball slide” it only allows her to dodge in the direction she is facing.

Seems perfect for a Shield to only be able to “charge” in the direction it’s facing & wouldn’t be too OP.

exactly, a dash not a blink

but i would make it different from wheeler's, not giving inmunity while moving

Pith Pike (wigfrid's spear) from the Forge is my personal take (making it lose durability or also with a cooldown so you don't spam it crazy),

Maybe making it more like in Terraria and make it push you back when you hit something, but that would be kinda hard to implement and clunky I think.

I play games like smite and Batman Arkham, an excellent example in how this could work is the shield can only have a “dash” option when there is an enemy nearby, and like playing as Athena in Smite, can only Dash towards them hitting the enemy as a Melee attack, dealing damage but also depleting some of the shields durability.

Being able to use it as a “Dodge” to avoid danger shouldn’t be an option, but as a Charge forward similar to Moose Woodie, sure why not?

i find more fun to have it for movility rather than to only engage combat

Would be akin to a dodge so no.

I think the items is good as it is.

If you're tired of constantly feeding it switch to a more filling food that isnt monster meat. This is what I was talking about with practicality over efficiency. I prefer honey ham because I have so much honey with 20ish bee boxes and so much excess meat from pig farms.

Then why do you want more durability? Its an infinite weapon. I wait for it to get to about 20-30% feed it once with honey ham and its back up to near full.

just to make gear combos like cc crown+mag less "1 hit and you lose the item"

i mean, the item is great, with that i cant argue

@zarklord_klei buff it pls

atleast the weapon durability (is just changing a number). Is the most underwhelming loot from one of the stronger bosses

to be honest its not that bad in the ruins if you are on top of a ornery beefalo since it blocks bishops attack and you still can have your moggles

the item isnt bad, actually find it very good but i dont see myself rushing it to be honest, i might get it "because i can"
