meandthetrio
The gas filter is set to polluted oxygen yet somehow it is sending natural gas out of the filtered output as well. JRup
Check that pipes are not joined anywhere between filter's ports. I've singled out a suspect, check all anyway. The mineral overlay should help you see better when it comes to piping.... zach123b
to add to what jrup said, screenshot mode also hides the input/output ports like the mineral overlay would do Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/134774-gas-filter-backfeeding/#findComment-1507827 Share on other sites

psusi
Also, don't use filters You can save quite a bit of power by using a shutoff + element sensor instead. Or you can just use a valve to loop back 1 g/s in a circle, with a bridge to transfer new material into the loop, only if it is of the same type that is already in the loop. Anything that can't go into the loop ( either because it's the wrong type, the loop has backstuffed, or the input is a full 1000g so the loop can only take 999 of it ) will continue past the bridge to some other destination. This doesn't use any power at all for filtering, but you do need to make sure the lines can't get back stuffed or have a full 1000g packet in them.
