Dude, don't be such a ****. People should be allowed to communicate in whatever way they feel appropriate to convey how they feel. That is not a sanction for prejudice, that's a statement of opposition to unilateral censorship by corporations.

bro you can use all the fanciest words in the world but it still wont change you trying to justify saying literal slurs
why would anyone "feel" like saying a harmful and real slur, thats not on anyone else, thats on you lol

I am not trying to justify statements of hate. I abhor the use of such words, they are the lowest form of insult (almost as low as posting pics in response to a serious discussion). However that does not justify censorship. Freedom of speech is a fundamental human right, even if that speech is abhorrent. Where is the line drawn? We can all agree being prejudiced based on ethnicity or sex is not acceptable, but how about discussions of regional differences? Or statements in line with political discourse that can be viewed as prejudice? Or statements which, while not dangerous in & of themselves, encourage dangerous behaviour in others? Or statements that advocate for a particular lifestyle? What if somebody's just frustrated? What about regional differences in language, such as the massive differences in meaning surrounding the word "fag"? These issues are all far too grey to have hard & fast rules, even if in some of the applications the prevention of that speech probably wouldn't be so bad. Censorship is not a good thing even in the best of contexts. What goes unsaid matters, and it is better to be honest & ugly than censored & silent.
