sakura_sk
So... could we talk about the temporal ripper? It's a little bit soon (and probably still totally unfinished...) but why do we have EA and sandbox for? After many many maaany radbolts (10.000 radbolts if my calculations are correct ) the ripper located in the superconductive planetoid, rips a tear through space and opens the temporal tear at the edge of the starmap. Spoiler *Is the temporal tear suppose to have the vortex spinning before opening up? And the rip reaching too far is wonderful It also R.I.P.s the planetoid immediately after activation. A meteor shower starts and it's big! Spoiler Well... it does say there will be a R.I.P. *Was this much CO2 produced in meteor showers before? (I don't remember..) I find the implementation interesting and I was thinking: Should there be RIPpers in other planetoids too as a way to trigger meteor showers? I didn't really enjoy meteor showers and I was glad there weren't any in DLC but if there was a choice in-game (and not an on-off meteors switch in settings) to activate meteor showers in specific planetoid/planetoids, I wouldn't mind have that. So what are your thoughts? Also, did anyone else have a strange feeling about the temporal tear message? Spoiler It seemed to me like a new save would start, randomly choosing a starting asteroid, skipping dupe choice and the dupe that vanished from one cluster would pop through the printing pod to a new cluster. Well, I can still hope it could happen
SkunkMaster
Regolith is one of the most broken materials in game, it's fine if that thing is only on one "planet". That said, i'm happy we can now make a "meteor planet" where it rains all the time
blueberry pi
the opening of the tear has disrupted the orbits of many small objects, fear for your life and take shelter, ¡it's the end of the world! (literally the temporal tear is in the edge of space) also that beam is quite powerful, enough to break space time, it would be cool if it destroyed tiles in its way and left them as debris even very hard tiles, like a robo-miner that can break through neutronium and other stuff. celest-kn
Quote Also, did anyone else have a strange feeling about the temporal tear message? No, only wonderful feelings... I'm foreshadowing a new DLC. Imagine this, you start your first colony on the base game version, you release your inner mad scientist, send a few duplicants into the tear and BAM! current DLC content unlocked, a fresh start with new mechanics to explore then you engineer your way up to the ripper, and then Spoiler
