Think it would be nice to make something like remote signal producer and remote signal consumer. From my point of view, it should have such properties:

 

producer

have automation input port,

have electricity input port

consume 60 watt when receive green signal

produce 500 heat when receive green signal

have some kind of unique id

have limited (but pretty large range), signal pass through any walls

 

consumer

have automation output port

have electricity input port

consume 10 watt energy constantly

produce 500 heat always

listen for specific ID of producer

if more then 1 producer have same ID it work same as "OR" filter

We really need that for the dlc for interplanetary communication but a smaller version for in base usage would be nice as well.

Somesort of central processing unit in the form of a small 1x2 computer that can do things based on a primitive programming language

you cant transfer electricity tho air but you could make a relay for switch voltage on or off

signal probaply would work same way like Reactor radiation,also more walls you add less is the signal power
