It would be so easy to implement and the result would be cold biomes requiring you to have atmo suits, making progression before getting there make more sense. That would also make the game much more interesting. Hypothermia alone isn't enough to need any suits to go inside this biome. Rust biome being accessible with just gas masks seems fine enough as it is an early game heat sink. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Instead of providing insulation they should modify the frostbite/scalding thresholds as well as add/remove heat passively to handle hypothermia/hat stroke better.
