Is there any way to manage forget-me-lots efficiently?

First of all, I'm using a translator, so it might be awkward...

 

 

 

I planted a lot without any plans

It's terrible to think that these will all rot in one mistake....

 

Is there any way to manage forget-me-lots efficiently?

 

Waiting in bolting mode seems to take too long....

I dont plant them, just remove bolted from time to time and let them spread naturally.

I make my forget-me-lot field a few tiles away from the Lord of the Fruit Flies, so if they go into the bolting stage, I can dig them all up, then till new holes and the fruit flies will plant new forget-me-lots. (There's a small chance they'll plant some other weed instead, but that's nothing another dig+till or two won't solve.)

To demonstrate:

Lakhnish just made a nice video about growing forget-me-lots this I'll try to find it and put it in spoiler maybe you find it helpfull.

However I don't think there is much you can do about them rotting.
