What if Wagstaff could give us his unique DS crafts?

So judging by the latest update, any hope for Wagstaff being a playable character was completely thrown out the window. However, I was wondering if his other perks, mainly his inventions, could still be something we could snag for ourselves?

There's a lot of creative potential to be had for his inventions. The telebrella works in the caves and is a very cheap way to do short-medium distance travel on the surface as well, which is handy for lategame purposes when you need to travel to more places more frequently. Similarly, his thumper could be used for lategame "automation" of tasks, since while a bit pricey, it would be a very effective method of chopping small to medium amounts of trees, and might even have interesting applications for stuff like marble shrubs!

For the record, I do think his inventions should be gated to where we normally encounter him (moonstorm/post celestial champion's defeat). What I was thinking is that if the celestial champion was killed, Wagstaff could hand blueprint(s) as a "thanks" from him. It would still mean you would need to get all 3 altars and beat the new boss to try out the unique crafts.

What do people think? I know they would technically be seen as character exclusive crafts, I could see them being repurposed as a lategame reward for helping Wagstaff and lessening some general tasks that people do struggle with otherwise.

This could just be leftover from DS stuff, but the sound files for all his crafts are in moonstorm.fsb! I also think it would be a cool compromise over not having him playable
