mkzanjxs
Klei moves the volcano asteroid 9 tiles away from main asteroid, which means even with LH2 engine, I still need 2 liquid fuel tank and the rocket height is near 25. But in the asteroid, there are magma everywhere under 20 tile. How could I land this one without rocket resource support? sakura_sk
I intent to approach magma planet like before . As far as I've seen how starmap position of planets is set, every planet would be at 3-4 tiles of another one. So, maybe I would build platforms and CO2 refueling to each stop and then crash-land magma planet (again) using 2 CO2 rocket with trailblazers and 1 with spacefarer module. Space needs to be more spacious to accommodate bigger rockets Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/127402-how-to-land-in-the-volcano-asteroid-in-the-latest-version/#findComment-1432626 Share on other sites
Timotheeee1
land 2 trailblazers then dig through the abysallite and obsidian for a while and build the platform underground. alternatively use a one-way rocket that uses sucrose or steam Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/127402-how-to-land-in-the-volcano-asteroid-in-the-latest-version/#findComment-1432659 Share on other sites

But it is weird that I was force to use low-tech engine when I have top-tech engine Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/127402-how-to-land-in-the-volcano-asteroid-in-the-latest-version/#findComment-1432909 Share on other sites
noaIV
well can have best engine in game but don't matter much of you have no room to land the rocket Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/127402-how-to-land-in-the-volcano-asteroid-in-the-latest-version/#findComment-1432910 Share on other sites
The Plum Gate
Honestly this seems like a chore for rovers to set up some basics at least. noaIV
well provided the rovers don't melt first Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/127402-how-to-land-in-the-volcano-asteroid-in-the-latest-version/#findComment-1432929 Share on other sites

RageLeague
The volcanic asteroid is covered in magma and obsidian. The rovers can do literally nothing, unless I am missing something. The Plum Gate
I forgot they capped the magma planet in Abyssalite. On new worlds at least. I guess they're nerfing the rovers after all.
