I wish that at least water source would be random. As is - it would be to repetitive - same tactics all the time and the unknown with the scrambling while dealing with the hand you've got - is why I fell in love with ONI.

There are still 3-4 random geysers between 2nd and 3rd planetoid. I'm waiting to see how forest and ocean start would look like (I mean... there will probably be more starting cluster options in the future)

Edit: There is a mod (sandbox tools) which lets you add geysers using sandbox but I don't know of any other "worldgen" mod that lets you play with different geysers and works in DLC

It would be interesting if we had a guaranteed water source but it would be two of the 6 water based geysers (cool steam, hot steam, liquid water, cool slush, cold brine, salt water).

I've been playing with world gen a bit (mostly for the purposes of adding rare resources).  I could probably do that, although my experiments with geysers haven't been that successful..
