Suggestion, Dropping torches leaves light there

When the player drops a torch it should stay there like a camp fire and give off light until it runs out of wood.

Personally I like to leave torches lying around on the ground in case of an emergency.

I actually think if you drop a torch in reality, it extinguishes pretty fast

maybe we should do some field study on that.

but while you mention it, I always felt like the grassy area the beefys most like hang out should be flamable when you use anything but a fire pit.

A fun idea, as long as the torch will still break down even after it gives light on the ground. Otherwise it could be used as a free light source.

As long as there's oxygen and fuel (grass) on the torch, it should theoretically burn.

This is a possible idea, but maybe with a consequence. Maybe if it burns faster? I.e. half the time as a campfire?
