phasic
I understand that Spaced Out is early access so if it only has two starting asteroids, that's fine. It just doesn't seem like it when starting a new game, I can only cycle between two out of five asteroids that I see. I'd rather not play on the easy difficulty or "Ideal" survival chance setting. How do I change it? Am I missing something? Do I need to "beat the game" (I'm new I don't know that might mean) in order to get the harder difficulties to access the other asteroids? I know I can just increase the hunger, stress, morale, and sickness difficulties, but it's not the same as having limited resources to work with. misotoma
I guess three things can be changed/added to increase difficulty. One is like you mentioned in game settings you just put all max hunger, etc. Next would be searching through seeds that would give you less resources (metal poor) or harder to access places making things slower like boulders of obsidian. As of now in Early Access those asteroid traits view listing is not available. Last would be to play one colony while collecting all achievements. The Plum Gate
Starting challenge - reroll only one dupe for the characteristics you want, then reroll the other two randomly ( no specifics ) a number of times equal to the stat bonuses of the dupe you choose ( so, if its' +2 doctoring and +4 strength, hit the reroll button on one twice and the 4 times ). And just start. I think the game has always been in survival mode by default, I don't even know what easy mode does. I usually keep everything on default - this is an early access DLC, so I don't ant to go all out into it. phasic
Thanks for the tips. If I don't make things hard I get bored very quickly lol. KonfigSys
if your question is: does the number of asteroids in the DLC depends on setting difficulties? I would answer NO. When you choose no matter terra or swamp, you will see description of other 5 asteroids that will come along. No worries, you will see all 5+1 you started in the game later. I guess confusion comes up from - you do not choose 2 out of 5 in the menu. You choose only two currently (terra or swamp) and 5 you can see below it is what comes with it. Like terra PLUS 5 other asteroids.
