limited_dev
So I wanted to create a dedicated Server on my Raspberry Pi. (2,1GHz; 8GB Ram), but I cannot get steam, or steamCMD to run. Does anybody know how it'll be possible to run a server like this? (I know that the server will lag.)
Developer nome Posted December 18, 2020 Developer Share Posted December 18, 2020 Wrong architecture. Intel based applications likes steam and steam games won't run on an ARM CPU, except maybe in an emulator (...if you thought it was gonna lag before...!) myxal
Didn't someone ask this same question, like 3 weeks ago? Like nome said don't expect this to be practical. If you still want to do this for the geek cred, check out https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/raspberry-pi-install-steam
