Forge Emote Set Bonus

Recommended Posts

I noticed today that I had a completed set of Forge items on Wolfgang, yet I did not have the emote you get for having every forge skin on one character. I believe this is because I had the full set of Forge items from the *re-forge* and not the original forge from the previous year. And so I think, since they are pretty much the same event, that having a full set of re-forge items should nab you the emote too, just as the regular forge items do. They are from the same event after all, one set being released one year and the other being released another year shouldn't make them different in this way.

I believe this was just an oversight when adding in the new skins, so if the team at Klei could fix this then thank you in advance.

Is it the Magmatic or the Gladiator? Because only the Gladiator provides the emote bonus. They are different skin sets.

I thought I was pretty clear and I already know why I didn't get the emote. My main point is that both should be applicable to getting it, since they are for the same event.

No, because they are different outfits. The Merrymaker set is a Winter's Feast set, but it still doesn't give the Carol emote. You have to get the Snowfallen set for it.
Different clothing sets have different ensembles, even for clothes from the same event. They are still different.

I- yeah, I know this already. Also, the two winter sets aren't the most apt comparison since they have different event icons (one is a snowflake, the other is a bell) which indicates separation, while both forge sets have the exact same icon (an anvil). So there's a better case for the forge skins to be together than the winter skins.
