You can't leave a duplicant to go do a journey on their own without them suffocating and have to click to do this and that specifically when it arrives, and it's kind of annoying. I don't have a lot of algae to start off with and I wasted all mine for pumping oxygen into oxygen masks and the amount of gas you can empty in the room depletes very quickly.
