Question about boats

Do boats produce some special ambiance?

Cuz whenever I'm in my base, which has a boat bridge and a lureplant boat, I constantly hear waves and other sounds that don't play anywhere else.

For what it's worth I did spawn a sea stack so I could have a decorative sea weed. But I've console-removed it ever since.

Probably. In large enough quantities, each turf creates its own ambience. In the case of Shell Beach Turf, that ambience involves waves and stuff.

Aww well that sucks. I supposed beach turf is going into my 'no decoration' chest just like lunar island and grotto turfs

if you keep it to 7 or less it shouldnt make noise? personally i am a bit sad since i adore the sound of gulls and creaking dock wood XD
