Denisetwin
I need help making this work. I want the bunker doors to open on the signal from the scanners, a short time after opening, I want the doors under the scanners to open for just long enough to dump the regolith that fell from the bunker doors onto them to fall to the ground and then close. This configuration isn't working. What do I need to do to fix? I am so bad at automation..... These are old pics so I don't remember the exact timing, you'll have to tweak it yourself to get it right The first buffer gate was to delay the bunkers closing to maximize the solar panel exposure (optional) The first filter gate is to delay opening the doors under the scanners giving time for the bunkers to fully open The second filter is for how long you want the doors under the scanners to be open Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/120620-bunker-door-automation-help/#findComment-1359131 Share on other sites

Is that an AND gate? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/120620-bunker-door-automation-help/#findComment-1359133 Share on other sites

Is that an AND gate? XOR Gate It only sends a signal if only ONE input is active if both inputs are active or both are inactive, the output is inactive closing the doors Here's a pic of the new artwork Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/120620-bunker-door-automation-help/#findComment-1359135 Share on other sites
0xFADE
I've got quite a mess. I needed to come up with something that would let me open up the doors below the radars as well as not end up having something come online and mess the system up. The signal feeds back in to itself making sure. Still has a lot of debug connections with switch overrides left on. Rifteur
Here is my bunker door setup, The signal from the scanner goes into a NOT then an AND gate. The second input of the AND gate comes from a set of batteries that are on the same electrical circuit as the bunker door. This is a safety that prevents the bunker doors from opening if there isn't enough stored energy to close them (the text in french says Battery 1:2 doors on normal current). The signal then goes to the door with a 5sec filter, the filter is here to prevent the loss of detection I had with the scanner that was messing up my system. The second part of the circuits starts when the signal out of the AND gate foes from red to green and last for 90s (fitler gate). During these 90 sec, the signal out of the memory gate turn red and green on a 5 sec cycle, this is used to open and close the automated airlock (not connected to an electrical circuit) to get rid of the regolith. Hope this helps Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/120620-bunker-door-automation-help/#findComment-1359240 Share on other sites
