jensakaa Posted May 6, 2020 Share Posted May 6, 2020 I'm using an 3GB RAM, 3 CPU 3,3GHz cores VDS. The vanilla server with caves lags a lot even with 2 players online. Also the server uses only 1.5GB of RAM. Thats not the Internet problem, as the ping is okay. What could be the problem? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There are lots of things you can do to improve performance, but DST is always going to be bound by your single core performance, taking advantage of 16 cores or something like that would require a complete rewrite (or lots of tiny worlds joined together like caves + overworld).
