Drawing layer for notes

I would love the ability to make notes on one of the layers. I've made a mockup of how it might look, where you can draw notes using neon style pens over the map. Then I don't have to try to remember where that one hidden gas vent is, or why i have a random tube in the middle of nowhere after a days break.

Could be something like alt-s for screenshot mode, like alt-n for notes and your drawing appears, nice

That is a functionality I missed as well. 

On a slightly similar note: I always wanted to build signs to label my rooms, switches, valves etc.

That mod is awesome, looks neat and fits the lore.

I've written notes everywhere. Temperature history for cold biomes I'm leeching, how much my water geyser will fill up my reserve per cycle, random configuration values for builds. It's just way handier than I imagined. 

Would also like to see a calculator in game, I'm alt-tabbing a lot.

This will be a nice add and when you had found volcanos on the map.
