Localized unintended automation behavior

Recommended Posts

Help!? I think I broke ONI:

So, I was just doing some testing with geysers before implementing on my base, then something broke and I realize a billion years after. Regular stuff.

When I was fixing it, I notice this weird behavior: there was a buffer that would never turn the output off, ever.

I deleted everything and made the exact same circuit: Gas pipe element sensor -> not gate -> buffer gate and still, the same problem.

The weirdest thing is, on the other side of the map there is some circuitry working just fine, it seems to be localized. I reloaded the save and nothing changed, I'm running blueprints but I didn't use it anywhere near that. After closing and opening the game stuff came back to normal. Weird...

Ever wonder how your flawless automation setup ends up exploding itself when you're not looking at it? Might be this thing XD

Video shows the weirdness.

Hey @PicaMula, welcome to the forums!

Please update to the latest build and let me know if this issue is still occurring. There was a bug with the NOT Gate in the build you're playing, which has been since fixed.

ooooh gosh you guys are fast moving! HAHAHA, after restarting the game everything was fine, steam downloaded stuff but I was not sure if it was a game or workshop item update :)

Thx for the reply! I'll be watching my automation paranoidly close for a while XD
