Ultroman Posted January 10, 2020 Share Posted January 10, 2020 (edited) Your tex-file is in JPG format. You can't just rename a JPG. You have to convert it to TEX. You can do that by using TEXTool. An alternative, is to use the auto-compiler, which is available when you have Don't Starve Mod Tools installed. To do that, convert your JPG to a PNG (not by just renaming it) and put it next to your modicon.xml. Then launch the game. Quit the game. It should now have generated a new modicon.tex file for you. Remove the new modicon.png from the final mod-folder. Concerning your image, you should make it power-of-two sizes, otherwise it won't look good. E.g. 64x64, 64x128, 128x128, 256x256, 512x256, 512x512, etc. For your modicon image usually 256x256 or 512x512.
