GoHereDoThis
My OCD is annoying me on this one. I clean out an area of pO2 through generous placement of deodorizers and once the area is clean, I destroy the deodorizers to make way for what I really want to build..... but then apparently there's a tiny blob of pO2 sitting inside the deodorizer that gets released once the deodorizer is deconstructed. How do I completely eliminate all pO2, even the one in the deodorizer? Yoma_Nosme
Cornerbuild. Build blocks, left right, top. Destroy the deodoriser. Then cornerbuild a tile where the deodoriser was. Poof... Someone1112
If you don't mind using explo... *cough* I mean, FEATURES given by the game, you could use the suggestion Yoma_Nosme gave. But if you're feeling adventurous, you could farm pufts, put them in those area and they will hunt down the tiny blobs of Polluted Oxygen. Since the amount is too low, they won't be pooping slime, at least that's what I do. Is it the easiest way? Probably not... Is it worth it? Probably not... GoHereDoThis
I did not think of cornerbuilding even though I do this sometimes on some areas with unwanted gases. Thanks! Sasza22
You can try using a puft to eat up those unanted blobs. But herding a puft might be pretty annoying to do. Craigjw
I've never had an issue with that, i just leave the deoderizers in a room and come back and destroy them. Perhaps the deoderizer had not finished processing a chunk of po2 when you destroyed it, re-releasing the po2 back into the wild. You might like to wait a little longer in future. It is a know issue, deodorizers will almost always not process all of the PO they contain, so 5-15g of it will be set free when you deconstruct them, still contaminated with slimelung if it was present. This was especially painful in previous patches where a single tile of contaminated PO could cause the sickness. I personally use cornerbuild if needed. Craigjw
Just build more deoderizers. I've never had this issue in any case, perhaps because when I attempt to deoderize an area, i build several of them and tend to forget about them for several cycles after the area is clean before i destroy them.
