The Trifecta Dilemma

  1. 1. When the powerful chars of DST are reworked, what shall be done?

    • Nerf them, and nerf them hard! They're too powerful!
    • Give them buffs for future challenges new updates may bring!
    • Light reworks to make their gameplay more interesting or challenging would be nice!
    • Other (do explain in the comments!)

The helmets and spears are nice for a team to be sure, but they're just part of her main strength: independence. Wig is the strongest 'zero preparation' character; she can take on most challenges in the game with little to no starting resources and still feel relatively comfortable, in part due to her previously mentioned perks, but also due to something most people seem to forget about: she heals based somewhat on the strength of her opponents. This perk can do ridiculous things; not the least of which allowing one Spider Nest to keep up all of her stats indefinitely while under cave insanity drain.
Wig is a character that can hop into the caves within the first few days, charge down to the Ruins, and face-tank the Ancient Guardian with nothing more than the rocks and gold that drop from the sky for helmets/spears and a couple decent RNG chests containing damaged Bat Bats. Done that run myself a few times: it's hella satisfying, and it's actually really common for enough Bat Bats to spawn; if they don't, then you just use normal tactics instead. Her other stats make up for it.

Wolfgang can be really strong pure stats-wise, but he can't do what Wigfrid can.
Wigfrid is probably the best nomad and dumb shenanigans character in the game, but she's generally less efficient than a well supplied Wolfgang.

It mostly depends on whether you're more of a baser or more of an adventurer.

This person gets it. Wig is just great at solo-ing hard to do things , especially early on. Wolfgangs my guy , but Wig does things he cannot without a lot more work/prep. Shes basically a bada**
