Dropping slicksters via automation

Hello,

Is there any way to drop a slickster from any kind of automated tile? I've tried several variations of this using doors to either drop or lift them, but I've had no luck so far. I'm trying to get the extras to move into a larger area, but they just hang out here on this tile. If I build a little stair case for them, they can float back up into the room again.

Set an auto sweeper up for eggs everywhere in the stable and set the sensor to 7 and drop the eggs where you want the slickster.

Put in a safety that activates the egg hatchery on less than 4 critters.

I have still too much CO2

If you have a volcano nearby pipe the CO2 through the volcano to get molten slickster.

Are you looking for pure automation?

For a quick fix, you could just deconstruct the tile underneath them and they should fall down...

Also, Dupes can wrangle slicksters if you make use of the auto-wrangle function with the critter drop-off.

You can also use this method to procure wild slicksters. Plop down the little arrow, set for morbs only, prio 9, autowrangle surplus and off they go to whatever critter drop-off you want.

For pure automation, it's best to handle critters while in their egg form though.

This is my critter dropper (nursery) that I plan to use but didn't tested yet in real game.

 

Conveyor brings egg when there is none and then when critter is alive it moves under left sensor and from there is dropped back to room with only living critters (no eggs).
I plan to use two of these for my dreckos because their eggs need more then 33 cycles to hatch and I want to have 8 dreckos there and not just 6 with 2 eggs.
