Free oxygen with a pinch of power.

I got an idea for an automated system for producing oxygen which should be self powering, but not sure.
It can be automated for sure.

Input Polluted water (Cool slush geyser or other), Regolith

Evaporation chamber:        Effect:

1 KG Polluted Water         1 KG Polluted Oxygen

Deodorizer:                 Effect:

1.333 KG Regolith           1.433 KG Clay
1 KG Polluted Oxygen        0.9 KG Oxygen

Handling byproducts:

Duplicant:                  Effect:

0.9 KG Oxygen               0.018 KG Carbon Dioxide

Hatch:                      Effect:

1.433 KG Clay               1.433 KG Coal

Coal Generator:             Effect:

1.433 KG Coal               859 W/s (1289 W/s) + 0,028 Carbon Dioxide

Molten Slickster            Effect:

0.046 KG Carbon Dioxide     0.023 KG Petroleum


From then on you can input the remaining byproducts somewhere in the chain.
Petroleum to Petroleum generator to get more carbon dioxide and polluted water and so on.
Has anyone tried something like this?
Both polluted water and regolith are free on almost any map.

Off-gassing is different from evaporation.
Off-gassing occurs when ph2o is stored in a place with atmospheric pressure bellow 1.8Kg. It happens with slime, bleach stone and polluted dirt.

Evaporation happens when ph2o is above 125c, resulting and steam and dirt.

so i assume he's going to evaporate it, since its an evaporation chamber, and he states the effects is polluted oxygen.

Anyway....off-gassing 1Kg Ph2o into 1Kg PO2 will take ages - i dont think it is really practical.

I found a way to make it practical. Its all about maximizing the area which is in contact with the polluted water. It can be done with air flow tiles:

Also I did mean evaporation, going from polluted water to steam is called boiling, no?

I build something like this many winters ago. It is work, and cheap power wise, but slow, so require a lot of space, need huge chamber to have decent output.

What i do is to install mini gas pumps in my ph2o reservoir to collect the po2, but i never build anything dedicated to po2 production due to the very low production rates.

I`ll try to make the machine and share results.
