automatic eggcracker

Guys, the game badly needs an automatic egg cracker (something that can work with automated ranches and swipers, cracking any eggs placed inside)

This is because manual labor egg crackers work horribly if you have multiple species automated ranches. In my case I was ranching 4 types of creatures, producing 11 types of eggs in total - all those were transported into the room with egg cracker. An obvious expected result was a dupe cracking eggs all his working days, instead, egg cracker was filled with eggs (2 of them), and a huge list of none-doable errands for several cycles, until all those creatures popped up and turned the room into an overcrowded zoo.

I was able to resolve this issue manually, but it happens and happens again if you have so many types of eggs and assume that 'every reachable egg must be cracked' logic. Would be really great to have automatic egg-cracking machine, that uses power instead of 10-20% of total time of all the colony dupes (yeah, running all the way from another side of the colony to break 2 eggs and then be replaced for someone running from another side of colony to break another 2 eggs is a sad reality)... when it not glitches.

Seems like the cracker priority might have been too low or personal priorities caused dupes do do other stuff.

But there is an option to crack eggs automatically. Just put them in storage bins. They will crack after 10 cycles. If the egg turns out to be needed a dupe can pick it up and put in an incubator before that time.

it is no in both cases. I run it with egg cracker 9 priorirty and duplicants top priority for relevant labor (operate, if I'm not mistaken). 

The thing is when you have many types of eggs, you put most common types of eggs on 'crack it forever'. As the result dupes got stuck in the cycle "I need to bring this type of egg to the egg-cracker, but I can't find / reach this type of egg, so abort" even though other eggs are inside cracker or in the same room. The only way to manually fix this was removing some 'buggy' eggs type from cracking (set to 0) and only then dupes start cracking it.

If I'm not mistaken, eggs cracking in storage bins do not produce raw eggs, are they?

I'm pretty sure automatic egg-cracker will simplify the whole ranching automation process (and isn't this end game is about automation?)

They are, yield same as we crack it using egg cracker. Both raw eggs and eggshell. We can complete it with automatic cooking by sending those raw eggs inside 75C room to cook it into an omelet.

Any storage can be used to crack eggs  (storage bin, smart storage bin, conveyor receptacle and automatic dispenser)
