I guess maybe wearing the Nightmare Amulet is best? On that note...I'm not cool enough to fight 5 creatures, do Winona's catapults attack them? Thanks! fimmatek Posted July 9, 2019 Share Posted July 9, 2019 To keep your sanity low you could use wormholes in the early game and a lazy deserter in late game. That is the quickest way with no maintenance needed. But wearing a nightmare amulet, armor or sword can help too. Or a batbat, with that and Wigfrid's life leech you could just tank nightmares As far as I know the catapults don't attack shadows. As soon as I get sane again, I just jump through the wormhole until insane again. -Variant Posted July 10, 2019 Share Posted July 10, 2019 I feel like the best late-ish way to farm nightmare fuel is to make a Lazy Deserter. Like, right click it a few times and bam, instantly insane, or, R-click it once and let your sanity lower, letting you choose how insane you want to be.
