Ambaire
I'm rerolling Oceania seeds to find a specific starting location I want. I randomly checked the colony summaries and imagine my confusion when it was filled with deleted 0 cycle saves that I thought were permanently gone. Why does it do this? edit: it seems it puts em in retired colonies even if I just start a new save, no deletion required. Still a 'why does it do that' thing. natanstarke
I guess it is for us to be able to see and compare even those super old. PhailRaptor
The game has always "saved" as the final action of creating a new map. It's actually a very common practice for map generation across many games I have played. Greybear
Yeah, it's a weird way of implementing it. This almost makes the colony summaries useless to me, as I often start 10+ colonies before committing to a seed. My summary is already flooded with cycle 0 bases.
